Columbia Rugby Football Club is a competitive and social rugby organization based in Columbia, Missouri. Home to the men’s team (the Outlaws), as well as youth teams (Bandits and Havoc), we are dedicated to growing the sport, building lifelong friendships, and representing our city with pride on and off the pitch.
? I’m new to rugby. Can I still join?
Absolutely! We welcome all skill levels—from first-timers to seasoned vets. Our coaching staff and veteran players are great at getting new players up to speed. If you can run, pass, or just bring the vibes—we’ll find a spot for you.
? Do you offer youth rugby?
Yes! CRFC proudly supports youth rugby through our U-19 Bandits (boys) and Havoc (girls) teams. These programs teach the fundamentals of the game while promoting teamwork, resilience, and sportsmanship. We also host free clinics throughout the year—check our events page for upcoming dates.
? When and where do you practice?
We typically practice twice a week during the season at Gans Recreation Area. Practice schedules may vary by season, so check our schedule page or social media for updates. All are welcome to stop by!
? What is the social side of the club like?
CRFC is more than a team—it’s a family. We host team socials, volunteer in the community, and even travel together for tournaments. Whether you’re playing or just supporting, there’s always a way to get involved and have a blast.
? How do I join?

? How do I buy gear or pay dues?

? Is rugby safe?
Rugby is a physical sport, but safety is a top priority. All players are taught proper tackling technique, and matches are officiated by certified referees. We also encourage proper conditioning, rest, and medical support as needed.
